To celebrate spring this year, my five year old daughter and I made some elegant birds nests. 

We started by gathering rocks, moss, sticks, used play dough, decorative cutouts, and jar lids. 

 
Next the rocks were painted with acrylic paint. 

 
We smushed the play dough into the lid then stuck the sticks around the edge.  

 
Time to add moss to the middle. 

Finished our nests off with beautiful eggs and cutout adornments. I hope you enjoy creating this nest as much as we did.
