As a citizen of earth and a parent I feel that finding the most holistic approach is vital to our survival. Cloth diapers are one aspect to sustainable parenting. I spent a collective $35 dollars through craigslist for 25 infant trifolds and 25 covers. I also had a lovely friend hand me down some.  

    
 

In addition to diapers I also use cloth wipes. Keep them in a reused ziplock with filtered water and some lavender oil drops.

It’s the winter of 2016 and time for celebrating the holidays. Here’s our living tree from the yard.

And here it is again all ready for Christmas.

  
There’s so many benefits to the living tree! It adds extra foliage to the yard during the year. It’s already here so no traveling and chopping. At $50 it’s a “free tree” after year one. Oh and it’s almost impossible to knock over!
